// 2× Green + 2× White berries (Pure tier — confirm in-game)
Cooling Tea (March 2025) is the desert-biome counterpart to Warming Tea. Drink before entering hot regions — desert monuments, summer wipes, or geothermal zones — and the cooling effect prevents heat damage and dehydration tick. Like Warming Tea, the Pure tier lasts a full 60 minutes, the longest duration of any consumable buff in the game.

Brew at a Mixing Table or Cooking Workbench. The order of berries in the slots matters — check the Berry & Tea Reference if unsure. The Tea Brewery Calculator tells you how many of each tier you can brew from your current berry stockpile.
When to use it
Desert monuments and summer wipe events. Drink before crossing a desert or entering a hot monument — Pure lasts an hour, plenty for any planned route.
What it stacks with
Light/burlap clothing — Wear minimal clothing in heat — stacks with the cooling buff
Hydration buffs — Cooling Tea reduces dehydration; pair with water sources to stay topped up
Max Health Tea — Different slot, run both for combat-ready desert ops
What it doesn't stack with
Warming Tea (opposite buff — drinking either replaces the other).
Another Cooling Tea — replaces, doesn't double up.
Tips from the wipe meta
60-minute duration means you can drink early and still have buff time during the active part of your run.
White berries are the rare ingredient — plant a small white-berry plot if you play a lot of desert content.
If you also need rad resistance for a hot monument, drink Anti-Rad Tea separately — both stack.
Common mistakes
Drinking outside hot biomes — gives no benefit and wastes the buff.
Using as a heal — Cooling Tea doesn't restore HP, only mitigates heat damage.
