How to bake pies

Get a Cooking Workbench
Craft one at a Level 1 Workbench or research it for scrap. It also functions as a Mixing Table so you can brew teas there too. Ingredient order matters just like the Mixing Table.

Gather ingredients
Every pie needs Eggs and Wheat. Eggs come from wild chickens or a Chicken Coop. Wheat grows near rivers like Corn — farm it for a steady supply. Cook your meat before using it.

Use a fridge
Meat and cooked meat now expire. Connect a powered Electric Fridge (1W) to keep ingredients and baked pies fresh. Without one, your ingredients will rot before you can use them.
Key ingredients
Wheat
Found growing near rivers. Can be farmed from seed. Required in almost every pie recipe — grow plenty.
Egg
Dropped by wild chickens or harvested from a Chicken Coop. Required in almost every pie. Set up a coop for reliable supply.
Jar of Honey
Harvested from beehives. Used in Apple Pie. Also gives +3 heal, -15 rad, +50 calories if eaten directly.
Potato
Farmed crop. Used in several pies. Easy to grow in large quantities from a planter.
Mushroom
Found in forests. Used in Hunter's Pie, Fish Pie and Survivor's Pie. Not farmable — must be gathered.
Pumpkin
Farmed crop. Only ingredient needed beyond eggs and wheat for Pumpkin Pie — cheap for the buff it gives.

Chicken Pie in Rust
Chicken Pie is the farming-focused pie for growers and crossbreeders. Its short buff window improves the chance of better crop genes, so it is best eaten right before harvesting or cloning plants during a breeding round.
The Chicken Pie recipe uses Cooked Chicken, Corn, 3 Eggs and 3 Wheat at a Cooking Workbench. For ingredient stats and chicken coop setup, pair this with the Rust Food Guide.
Bear Pie

Doubles the effect of all harvesting teas (ore, wood, scrap). A Pure Ore Tea at +50% becomes +75% ore yield. Trade-off: cuts tea duration from 30 min down to 15 min.

Pork Pie

Pumpkin Pie

Increases maximum health by 10% for 10 minutes. Does not stack with Max Health Tea — only the stronger of the two applies. Very cheap to make given pumpkins are easy to farm.

Apple Pie

+100% improved vision at night for 15 minutes — makes X tree markings and ore node hotspots visible in the dark. Great for night farming runs without risking NVGs.

Hunter's Pie

Chicken Pie

Fish Pie

Survivor's Pie
