Tea is brewed at a Mixing Table or Cooking Workbench using berries you've farmed. Every tea has three tiers — basic, advanced and pure — that scale by how many same-colour berries you put in. Pure-tier teas are the only ones worth using in a serious farm.
A basic tea takes 4 berries (e.g. 2× yellow + 2× blue for ore tea). An advanced tea combines 4 basics into 1 advanced — so 16 berries' worth. A pure tea combines 4 advanced into 1 pure — so 64 berries total. Pure-tier buffs are dramatically stronger and the standard for serious farming; basic-only is a wipe-day stopgap. The calculator above shows how many of each tier you can make from your current berry stockpile.
Most farming buffs (Ore, Wood, Anti-Rad) last 30 minutes at every tier. Pure Scrap Tea is the longest at 60 minutes. Max Health Tea lasts 20 minutes. Healing Tea is consumable-style (instant heal at consume + heal-over-time). Plan to drink each tea right before the activity, not in advance.
You can stack one tea per type at the same time — drink ore tea, max-health tea and wood tea simultaneously and all three buffs apply. You cannot stack two of the same type at different tiers. Drinking a pure tea after a basic immediately replaces the basic.
Most farmers prioritise max-health tea first (combat survivability), then pure ore tea for sulfur runs. If you're playing a building/farming role, brew pure scrap tea before recycler trips. Run the numbers through the Yield Calculator to see exactly how much extra you'll net per session.
