Ore Tea is the single highest-impact farming buff in Rust for sulfur and metal-ore runs. Brewed from yellow and blue berries at a Mixing Table or Cooking Workbench, it boosts the amount of ore you pull from every node — and stacks with Bear Pie for one of the most powerful yield combos in the game.

Brew at a Mixing Table or Cooking Workbench. The order of berries in the slots matters — check the Berry & Tea Reference if unsure. The Tea Brewery Calculator tells you how many of each tier you can brew from your current berry stockpile.
When to use it
Sulfur and metal-ore runs. Drink one Pure Ore Tea right before mining a sulfur quarry or roaming for nodes. Pair with a Jackhammer for the fastest extraction.
What it stacks with
Bear Pie — Adds a separate yield multiplier on top of ore tea — the iconic stack
Jackhammer — Mines nodes faster, converting the buff into ore quicker
Max Health Tea — Different buff type, stacks for survivability while grinding
What it doesn't stack with
Drinking another ore tea while one is active overrides (lower tier replaces higher).
Tips from the wipe meta
Brew Pure tier only — Basic and Advanced give weak buffs at the same time cost. The bottleneck is berries, and 4 yellow + 4 blue gives you 2 Pure teas instead of 4 mediocre Basic teas.
Stack Bear Pie before drinking. Eat the pie at base, drink the tea on the way to the nodes.
Don't waste tea time travelling. The buff is 30 minutes — drink it once you reach the quarry, not before leaving base.
Common mistakes
Drinking Ore Tea then mining stone — stone yield isn't affected by ore tea.
Brewing Basic tier early wipe to save berries — you'll burn through more total berries this way over a wipe.
